I have problems connecting with a local oracle 8 database on Linux Mandrake 7.2
The pages say to me that the funcion are not known. I did see the /etc/php.ini file and the records that I did find about orale are:

java.class.path=/usr/lib/php/extensions/php_java.jar
java.library.path=/usr/lib/php/extensions
extension=oracle.so
extension=oci8.so
I need something else?
