Did that about a year ago. The first attempts, with Tiger 10.4 the results were, shall we say, not a little dubious!
The methodology has moved forward substantially, and I am currently running Leopard 10.5.7 on a Gigabyte GA-P35 + Intel Core2Duo E8600 with 4 gig RAM.
One thing I must stress is that ALL drives (including DVD) have got to be SATA,though to actually install the OS you have to use IDE (BIOS), you need to switch to AHCI after installation.
My installation runs sweet, did the install of 10.5.5 just after last Xmas using the
iDeneb DVD. Have had no crashes, freeze-ups or any other mishaps at all, solid as a rock.
Can install any Mac software without problems. I also run Parallels 4.0 which is faster than VMWare (especially graphically) from which you can run any M$ software.
You can get a lot of information from the following sites

and software from

If you need any help, just let me know, will be more than willing to help m8
Good luck.
