Paying for one way links to improve PR

Is it worth it to pay for one way links in attempt to improve pagerank?nope, you'd be better off paying for directories like yahoo and building back links then paying for high PR links that matt cutts just stated in his blog about how google is devalueing the purchased high PR links to manipulate google.http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/tell-me-a ... backlinks/i think the above link was the topic, if its not you can do asearch or dig through his site for more info. if it looks like a paid listing then google more times then not devalue the inbound link.I don't see how google would be able to tell the difference between paid links and a regular backlink.personally, i don't go to paid links. simply because there were a lot of free submissions over the net.I'd deffinitely hit the free submission directories and hope that a bunch accept you. Most of those free directories receive many listings per day and it may take weeks to months for your site to be listed. As for buying links, there is no way Google would know nor do they frown upon that. Anyways, to keep a long story short i'd focus on free directories and then move on to link exchanges and possibly buying links depending on your budget.Thank you for the advice I think I will just try to get into the free directories.Google says they are devalueing paid links but I think it is easier said than done because it involves complicated issues...If I am google, I will say that too to discourage pple from buying links.bpeh wrote:bbott1982 wrote:meman wrote:Can i pay for being listed in dmoz ? is there anyone who does this service of listing in dmoz for money.Contact meChouIs that how desperate you are?Yes, I need good serp.
