Are those google pagerank predictors any good or is it more for fun? and if it is good how does it work?No they don't work. They completely fabricate the pagerank.Yep, Google PR prediction tools are some times useful. They give us idea about future PR, but some times those results are not true.etech-racheal wrote:oh ok, I knew it was too good to be true.PR simply depends on how much sites are linking to you.The only reason my webpage has a PR of 3 is cause i've sent out loads of emails to people to add a link to their website. No PR predictor can predict how many sites will link to you... unless your site is an uber killer site thats super popular and people want to link to(like wikipedia) cause of the content, you usually have to create your own PR.I'd suggest, start mailing to websites. Search on google on the domain of a competitive site (for example http://www.google.nl/search?hl=nl&q=%22 ... m%22&meta= ) and start mailing to the sites if they can add your link to their link database too.Getting PR when you have bad PR is usually hard work. And usually just 35% of the emails for link exchange requests work out into a deal...MichaelYes most of them are correct but is Google Pagerank worth it ? Regards/Puneet M.Hi, PageRank predictors only can show your current pagerank on different Google datacenters and some of them has a link popularity checker as well. But certainly no pagerank predictor can really predict, you can predict your possible pagerank by visiting the google datacenters numbers and also by adding links continually.
