I recently launched my site Project4Hire.com and I noticed that I still have a pagerank of 0. However, Google has already indexed my site and I have a lot of links to my site. How long does it take Google before it actually gives me a decent PageRank ?it will be zero untill the next PR update (not that it matters). updates happen about once every 4 months. nobody knows when the next one will be.Oh really?I did not know that. So, I guess I have to be patient then Will this affect my position in search results?PR has only small and negligible contriubution towards your ranking in SERPs.No, it should not affect u'r position in search results. but u wont be able to sell u'r adspace I wouldn't worry about PR. As long as you get listed in a reasonable position PR doesn't matter in my opinion. I don't think it amounts to much anymore to google.Basically PR is displayed when google updates its data centers. However the effect of your linking efforts are visible as you do it. So most of the time when you se a change in PR in toolbar you really dont see a change in traffic.Put your link on some hign PR sites.then wait about one monthHi,Congrats, you shud get PR4 in next update. Or atleast PR3.wait till the next google dance.Do you want to know when it will happen?Keep watching here http://www.seocompany.ca/pagerank/page- ... -list.htmlchouNickyUnfortunaltely PR won't get you more new visitors. I have several sites with PR=4 and PR=3, but they never go over 100 visitors per month.the best way to listing in google is link exchange, manish tulihttp://www.cre8ivemind.com[/url]
