Page & Thread structure

Hey guys im new here & to vbulletin i just switched over to VB from phpbb and its quite dif. Basically im having problem with the thread structure i cant seem how to change it ex. ( Anyone have.. - NightClubCity.com: New York Nightlife Guide )how the user info is all the way to the left in a standard style but on my forum it seems to be vertical and cant seem to figure out how to change it here is an ex to my so u can see what im talking about ( Test - Hush Recordings Message Board )
 
one more question im not sure how to apply the products and plugins i have installed i installed them via the admin panel and they show up listed but i dont see them on my forum
