Does Page Segmentation has any relevance with SEO??? What do you mean by Page Segmentation? Page Segmentation is relivant mostly if you believe in PR as part of your marketing plan.

The theory being that the engines will give more weight to blocks (locations) where advertising is not normally displayed.

So the "Theory" says that where you place the link on the page is important.

OH No - Link farmers are scambling. If Google can ever get PR to work again they may give it more weight IF they can make algorithmic improvements to improve search relevance and neutralize the spammier link building methods

But PR will be short lived if they bring it back. Links farmers are making money and that's a lot of incentive to keep trying to beat Google and keep the scam going. http://searchengineland.com/seo-page...analysis-16077

go through above , answer for your question. Nice ideas but it would be great if there is an experiment - a check if it works or not. This way these are just ideas. And no proof... Quote: PR will be short lived if they bring it back. It never went anywhere. The Google search engine is built around the Page Rank patents which are named after Larry Page, one of Google's founders. They are not likely to be building some whole new approach any time soon. I find Google's returns to be more relevant than most because of it. I believe that there's always work being done algorithmically within the system to present more relevant returns, and there are constantly filters being implemented and/or refined to try to weed out the spam. I haven't had the chance to read the whole paper yet but it's certainly on my list. Microsoft really needs something to boost their search engine numbers. Maybe this will be the magic bullet. First let me know the page segmentation I believe page segmentation is not yet part of SEO. Hello !!

even i think that the page segmentation is not the part of SEO as it is the part related to the computer memory management and comes under the operating system theory.

There is a general notion towards page segmentation. For most search engines, this has been done mainly to reduce levels of noise in a page. I read an article about SEO implications of Page Segmentation Concepts - http://www.huomah.com/Search-Engines...-concepts.html
