Im not sure if this is alreadt up, but im curious on this issue.I have a reasonable amount of affiliates backlinking to my site, I also had a good Page Rank of 4/10...now I have nothing. Strange that I noticed this happened when Google re-did there algerythm(?sp). Is there a way to get your PR back or do I need to startr from scratch again?I mean I still have my affiliates and so-on but I get no PR's. If there is a method for this can someone share.Thanx~Jaywhat's your sites address?A lot of the time, affiliate links have ?affid=**** and you won't get PR for your home page from those links.Do you show any backlinks in google....is your PR0 or is the bar gray?Sorry for the late response. My site is http://www.urbangrafixdesigns.comand ya...my bar is gray when it was green before.Your links are fine...I think this may be the issue. You have a few urls pointing to your site that look like this:http://www.urbangrafixdesigns.com/?vo=5http://www.urbangrafixdesigns.com/?vo=9They all display a page that's identical to your home page....google most likely is viewing this as duplicate content and has dropped you main page from the index. If you search google for site:www.urbangrafixdesigns.com you'll see that the .com page is missing....try to get rid of those links.Links ... what links? When I do a request in Google like "link:www.urbangrafixdesigns.com" it shows there are no links to be found. So I try to look up any references to your domain name (there are 79), but most of these are internal links on PR-0 pages. There were only 2 PR-3 links and 1 PR-4 link in the list, not enough links! To make matters worse, 2 of the 3 links point to urbangrafixdesigns.com (without the www). This would be considered a different page, so now you have 3 links spread out over 2 pages. NOT ENOUGH LINKS.Then when I try to access urbangrafixdesigns.com there is some kind of redirect that takes me to http://www.urbangrafixdesigns.com. How old is this site? Have you recently rebuilt this site?Quote:Then, How he got PR4 early, How he loss it, interesting...<quote>Links ... what links? Google doesn't show any links because the page the links point to has been dropped from the index....try using yahoo to see the links...I get 26....and most of them have good PR. I get 282 links without the www.I wouldn't rely on google as you link counter...it hides a lot of links that actually count towards PRwell,I wrote to google and they told the the algarthym(?sp) story yet it was an automated email...lol...later on the day I get back on the computer and guess what...Voila my PR is back...yippee...i guess writing to them made a diff. if that was the case. I was also told that alot of my references/back links must've been dropped also. Thats probably why there is no high result. Thanx for the advice guys..now all I have to do is find more affiliates Anyone wanna to trade banners
