Are padding and border-spacing not suppossed to work the same way as cellpadding and cellspacing work for tables?
I can not replace cellpadding and cellspacing in a table tag to padding and border-spacing. They don't have the same effect.
Am I missing something?Yes, the padding attribute defines the space between the edge of the element and it's content, therefore if you define the padding in the table element, it will increase the space between the tables edge at the cells inside the table. To solve this, define the padding for the table cells. Thanks the tree.
That worked fine.
