I'm currently studying the use controls and whatnot, and am slightly disappointed to see that I cannot overwrite DLL files which are in my bin directory once I've loaded an aspx page that uses it.

I thought this was one of the great things about asp.net... instead I either have to stop and restart IIS or just create a DLL with a different name from the old one, and change references etc..

Or am I doing something wrong? (hopefully i am...)

the exact error message on my Win2000 Server is:
'The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.'

Thanks for any help
Daniel
