Here's a thing...I have been developing a range of sites over the last few months. One required the use of PHP but, as my server/domain was not PHP compliant, I had to send the relevant request to a PHP page on a different server, outside my domain, which then "bounced" back the appropriate response to my original page in the background (via an onload process). As this site is still under development, it's URL has NEVER been submitted to ANY search engines. However, at about the same time as I began to test it, I did submit another, completed site to a wealth of search engines, including Google. Guess what - the submitted site has still not appeared on Google, while the unsubmitted site, complete with its PHP "bouncer", appeared almost straight away, top of its listings!Make of this what you will.dwThere is no need to submit to Google or any of the major search engines. Just get some links pointing to your site from other quality sites and you will get indexed shortly.vetofunk wrote:
