I am trying to use iPlanet in conjunction with Oracle 8 on Solaris 7.
I have PHP compiled as NASPI with Oracle support no problem.
I seem to be having a problem connection to the database however.
Tnsnames.ora is correctly configured and I can connect via SQL*Plus.
The environment variables ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID are NOT set as reported by phpinfo().
Where do I need to set these? There is a startup script for iPlanet that lets you set environment vars. I tried this and it didn抰 work.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
