Oracle and ColdFusion Hosting

Hi all, I'm looking for a company who can host and manage a server with Oracle and ColdFusion. The versions of each don't matter much -- we're downlevel on both and I get the feeling I won't be able to find what we truly need, so we can use the most up-to-date versions. We need a managed environment, though the server doesn't need to be dedicated. Any suggestions? Thanks!Could you provide more information on your network requirements? Processor/RAM needs? You're likely to find a dedicated the most efficient and flexible with these technologies as oracle has its own filesystem.(for the best performance).Kind Regards,This is going to be a test environment and never in production, so the load will be very, very minimal. That may change in the future but not for a long while, if ever.I did a Google search for ColdFusion and Oracle hosting just now and this thread came up as the first hit. That's not good! I sent some emails to a few hosting companies just to get some quotes, but I can't find any information here about any of them but viaVerio, and that information is pretty old. Does anyone have an opinion about any of these companies?

DreamWorx
Bestnet
Rolet
viaVerio

Thanks!I thought I'd post an update, just in case anyone else is interested. I have another client with CF Dynamics, but they don't host Oracle. Rolet emailed me back right away and said they can't do Oracle, either. I haven't heard from Bestnet or viaVerio yet, which is never a good sign.

I've been emailing back and forth with DreamWorx and it looks like they can help me. It's going to be pretty expensive, but you would assume that Oracle hosting would be. My only concern is that I have found one hosting company, which means I can't compare them to anyone else. Does anyone have any suggestions for other hosts? You're going to need to look at higher end managed hosting companies when you're dealing with Oracle. My impression is that ColdFusion usage has waned considerably and is almost a non-factor in server side application development at this point, so you're probably going to have a hard time finding a provider that still supports it. You might want to check out these providers; I'm pretty sure they supported ColdFusion at some point:

DataPipe
Digex/Verizon
NaviSite
VerioBoth of those techs are uncommon, so finding any one host that will do both may be very difficult. We support CF, but not Oracle, for example. I think the better option for you may be to purchase a CF license and find a company that supports Oracle and will let you install your CF license (which means dedicated or VPS). The only downside to that is that your host won't know anything about CF so it's up to you to support it yourself. You could try a CF VPS and install Oracle Express. As far as management goes you may have to hire someone for that seperately.
KickassVPS has Windows CF VPS and Oracle Express is a free download. Assuming Oracle Express will fit your need for development of course.
