I'm having major problems connecting remotely to Oracle via ODBC. I've read that some environment values should be set before you run the connect - can anyone tell me what these commands are?
For those wondering why I'm using ODBC, I've tried using the oci8 and oracle PHP extensions but I keep getting an alert box popup saying that PHP cannot find the relevant dll file.
However I have my extensions_dir variable in php.ini set correctly, because other dlls in the same extensions directory (Eg: SQL Server extension) are working with no problems!
If anyone can help me with either of these problems, I'd appreciate it
