How about using same anchor text in articles , forum signatures and links on other site, is this looks un natural to google, whats the proper method to build link against a keyword. If you have to use two different anchor texts, you should at least use two different but similar ones, check out my sig I think diversity is usually best for most things, so you would probably want to switch it up a little bit over different forums, ect... You can use different semantic versions of your anchor text. This way, it would not only improve your ranking on SERPs for different keywords (with different semantic versions) but this strategy is also natural for Google.
Good luck, if you want to target a single kw or phrase.. then there is nothing wrong with that.. as long as you don't do any spamming or something that google might frowned.. If you want to more keywords target so, best way to use different anchor texts. Google said that their algorithms can distinguish the natural links from the unnatural ones. IMO, the best thing you should do right now is to make sure that your anchor text is properly suited for its link(landing page). The anchor text should be related to what its landing page is all about. There are different ways on how you can build links for your site, just make sure to avoid using unethical techniques. Follow what's on Google's Webmaster Guidelines and you'll be on the right track. If you use same anchor text every where
Then you will not be able to rank better for other keywords.
If you just want to rank better for one key word then I don't see any harm on using
same anchor text everywhere. Using different versions of keywords is worth enough In forum sites you can use same anchor but for blog and article writing you have to make some changes.. I think it does not matter if you are going to use same anchor text in any Article body but if you are interested to increase your PR you should use different anchor Text with similar URL. It depends on what you're trying to rank for. If you've got 3 or 4 different keywords that you're trying to rank for, vary your anchor text so that you build links for all of them.
Anchor text is one of the most important factors when you're trying to build links. Far too many people underestimate it, and wind up using stuff like "click here" when they should be using keywords. If you are targeting more than one keyword, you may use them alternatively. And if you use only keyword, there is no problem because you have links on different sources and Google like links from different sources. Dont use name as a anchor text. Better use your keyword if applicable. Thats not a good idea at all, since the anchor profile of your website will look absolutely artificial, and all the links might be devaluated one day by G. I think it's ok if you use same anchor text but different landing page.
