hey guyz

I have inserted some liks to word documents in my site, and when you doubleclick it is openen in a internet explorer browser. So thats allright.

What i need to know is, when the word document loads it is loaded in a browser, without any toolbars, when you press the outline vieuw you get the outline toolbar above the document(the outline bar from word) when u rightclick and select u can insert the standard toolbar from word. But when i close and open again this toolbar is gone, how do i insert that toolbar so that is always noticable for everyone who uses my site?????I don't have Word on my computer, and have no idea how to solve the problem. What I do know, is that if your plan is to make these documents accessible - as you say: "for everyone who uses my site?????" Then using Word documents is probably not a very good idea. If you are on a local net in an environment where everyone uses Microsoft products, forget I ever said anything.because it is on a local intranet were everyone in the office uses word, so anyone got he anwser?Do you really need to put Word documents on your site? I don't think that there is a way to put it for display. I suggest that you convert it to PDF and put the plugin available for Download . Or, you can just put the file in a normal link, and just let let them do whatever they want with it.i need to insert those word documents because its for an office, and they all use MS Word. So thats the deal, and the documents that need to be inserted are provided by the office, in word documents, and there wish is my command :) so if you know any way? please tell meThis may help you:

My problem isnt opening the file, that works, i want it to be opened in Internet explorer, thats a standard setting when u click on a link thats a *.doc filetype, so thats ok.

My problem is that i want certain word toolbars standardly opened when i press the link.

I have made some screenshots to show you guyz what i mean.

This pic. shows how it is loaded by default.

I hope you understand what i mean know?

GreetsI don't know a lot about this kind of thing but I think what you need to do is write a bit of Visual Basic actually within the Word documents so that when the application opens up it is configured the way you want it. i.e. when you open the document it runs a macro that opens the toolbar.

I can't tell you how, maybe someone else knows.

I could be completely wrong, but I hope this helps!Well, I don't get this problem, because I can't even get the toolbars to appear. :D
