Hi everyone-

I'm new here (as of last night), but I thought this question would be a good test run for how interactive these forums are (so far, I'd give it an A, but I've not yet had personal experience).

I'm working on a variety of open source projects, two of which I'm heading up and hosting, and one set of open source tools I'm creating as I see a need. I have the svn repositories set up, and all the developers are actively using them. This has been a super nice way for me to be able to handle all the work. svn means that I can drop a project when things get busy, update when I get back, and not skip a beat (obviously).

I'm trying to model the management of these projects much like my projects at work are modeled, and that is that they have definite project paths, goals, and bug tracking. So I was thinking about using Bugzilla (which I use at work), ViewCVS, and a wiki. However, I was also looking for a web based tool that works like Microsoft Project. I like this because I can sit down in a meeting with my project manager, and he can hand me a project path, and then I can see where my definite deadlines are. These deadlines aren't going to be NEARLY as hard, but I'd like to be able to set goals so that I can prioritize work. However, Microsoft Project is um, proprietary, and I stopped paying for software 3 years ago when I switched to 100% open source (alright, so I paid for VMWare and Pixel...) I guess that would be the only requirement.

Out of all these tools, does anyone have any other suggestions? I'm pretty good at adapting to new tools. I'm running a Debian Etch webserver that I'll deploy these tools on, and I'd like them all to be rather user friendly (i.e. so that users can use them... --) Does anyone have anything that's integrated all together, or might have some tools that can be modularly clicked like Legos?

Thanks in advance

rockstar_
