ONE-WAY link and reciprocal link

which one do you think is better? i prefer ONE-WAY link, for i heard from other that search engines consider one-way link much more valuable. Is that true?Search engines are forever changing how they handle links due to the amount of people that figure out which is best and totally abuse it with spam sites.There will be some links that are not counted ... both 1 way and reciprocal ... it depends if the site linking is suffering any penalty ... if it does then it will more than likely not count as a link.There are many other things as well such as directories ... it will help for some search engines, but not influence others.There are so many factors overall, concentrate on optimising on-page factors as well and having relevant sites linking into you with relevant text links ... that should help... although a reciprocal link from an authority site would still give great weight to your site, a one-way link from it would give more, and a one way link to it, would add a little to your site as well for relevancy.One way links are prefered by google these days but thats not saying that reciprocial links are useless. if it is any help why not read this article onlink buildingThe true difference comes from Links from quality sites with a high PR, even if they are reciprocal.Link exchange should also be from relevant sites , it would help.The importance of backlinks comes mainly from the type of site linking too you.. The more links you got pointing to your site the better.Both links are important. But according to me one way links are more important. When your one way links are relevant then it helps in getting high PR. While doing reciprocal linking it is important to consider relevancy of that link. Because, when site is relevant then it helps in ranking.Relevance doesn't count towards PR, Only PR counts towards PR.Relevance counts towards SERPS.SERS are more important than PR.I think the best links are one-way links from sites with the same topic as yours and preferably a high PageRank.
