Changed hosts, switched the DNS info, waited for propagation.
Can't see my own site. Everyone else can, but I can't?

Reset my internet options to default
Cleared my cache
Deleted all temp internet files
Deleted cookies (thats a headache now) :)
Restarted my computer
Restarted my DSL modem

Tested it on a seperate computer (dial up laptop with 32mb of ram, never do that again) It works.
Can't view the site on my desktop. Running WIN2K, ram and cpu doesn't matter. Just can't see my website? I get the all familiar "The page cannot be displayed"

I can connect via ftp, upload and Download files. Tried the IP address, no go. Now what do I do?

Anyone have a clue? I don't have the foggiest idea what to do next..
Both work, just not for me.Which site are you talking about? http://www.hostburn.com ?That site is not working for me.The site can be accessed by using the "www" or not. I just posted them both.

I can't get either one to work, but I can on my laptop?

MikeDon't worry about it I guess the propagation has just not filtered all the way through to the DNS servers you are connecting with (as opposed to the ones some others are going through to get to you). You need to allow up to 3 full days for the propagation to complete and this will also be enough time for your ISP's cache to have cleared as well (as it will have cached the old IP address).

I experienced the exact same problem when I moved hosts last November.

Post back if the delay exceeds 3 days.:angry::angry:

Thanks for the reply and boost of assurance. I hope this is the problem. I even checked it with netscape.

Thanks,

MikeWhat Torrent said is right.Your DSL ISP has not updated their DSN cache. It should work once your DSL host updates their cache.hehe :D works for me......Works for me too :D .Check now and see if it works for you Mike.I have had a name take as long as 5 days to resolve before. Also, just try typing in your IP address.... and access that way. This will let you know if the site is up and running fine (it is, I can see it).

The IP is good as long as the Server is up and running.Ok, I can see it finally! Now, to get all the load movie variables together so it works correctly!

Thanks guys,
