How would people suggest optimizing a site with literally thousands of keywords. I assume that it would not be prudent to place all the keywords of the home page. Does anyone have any suitable techniques. My way of thinking is to attach the keywords to relevant pages on the site. i.e if I was selling a p diddy dvd, I would place that on a page of that information, and not on the home page....
Any thoughts etc would be appreciated. use your home page to taget your number 1 keyword priority as it will have the best and most incoming links. you could maybe get away with a couple of other keywords if done right although its complicated, though does work when done properly. pages just of the home page should have the next layer of most competative keywords and then lower pages take the least competative keywords. remember the page needs to be related to the keyword you are targeting. also long tail words will be vitally important! The importance of Keywords is not so much now a days for Google.
Place keywords in home page those describes the basic use of your website. Inner pages keywords should be more descriptive about your inner page contents. Hello,
yes, you can able to optimize no of keywords with url rewriting and try to use different keywords in every page due to that you are able to get ranking on different keywords. I suppose it's okay to share one of my web pages by now

That would be better. That way you can target more specifically for each page of your site. That's why it's important to have different meta tags for your inner pages. Instead of just having the homepage appear on SERPs, you can also have your inner pages appear! That's more traffic for your site That's exactly what a user friendly inviting index of your products will do
Rick I really won't go for that thousand keywords. I only select the ones with high daily word searches and low competition at the same time, relevant so I can focus my link building on the important ones. Any thoughts etc would be appreciated. I would suggest you to refer this link and use your keywords according to the structure. Its really helpful to make a seo friendly content. well home page it is, but you should already know.. is it something else as type of keyword.. practise keywords that have two words with powerful meaning.. bring something else to the table.. Select and use few keywords which is highly targeted for your site.. If you can't use all your keywords, target each page of your inner page using your other keywords, and these way, you can also gain traffic and get rank as well. i also want to know if the website has mang keywords, how can you let the every words Standing in the front?
