What I want to do is probably pretty simple, but I'm just not sure what to do to get there at this point. Since I am playing around with all these programs and mods at this point, I am currently using vBulletin® Version 3.7.2 and vBadvanced CMPS v3.1.0. I have vBadvanced Dynamics installed, but haven't touched it yet.
This first shot (screen01.jpg) is a section of my forum home page.
If you click on the State Specific Assistance Programs (USA Only) Link in green, it will take you to screen02.jpg which lists every state and all of their categories. I don't want that at all because obviously I want the members to use the drop down menu. Thinking that many links and stuff would really take its toll on my servers resources.
If I turn off the Act as Forum option, I end up with screen05.jpg and I don't want that either. Now I have a white link that still takes me to screen02.jpg.
If I set Act as Forum to No and Forum is Active to No; or Act as Forum to Yes and Forum is Active to No it disappears all together (screen06.jpg).
Now if you use the drop down and scroll to your state and hit the Pick Your State button, you will arrive at the screen04.jpg shot. I can live with this at this point in time, but my final goal would be to add another drop down menu somewhere. breaking down each state, by county, and then ending up at this page.
So my fine members, I am open for suggestions.
