Not ranking for keywords - 6 weeks in No-Man's land

I have seen some of the awesome answers that have been given to other sites with similar problems so I hope that this community will be able to shed some light on my SEO problem.One of my blogs, http://www.gardeningtipsnideas.com, was originally ranking #8 for the keyphrase "Gardening Tips". However, I made a stupid mistake by using a <noscript> link to this blog from a banner from my blog directory that others added on to their sidebars. I saw that Statcounter.com used this method but it appears didn't appreciate it from me.I was dropped within a day or two of the first site adding this banner and continued as others did. Since then I have remained at approx #400 for this keyword even after removing all traces , even having other sites remove this banner, of this little indiscretion. Any ideas why I am still here and when I shall see a return?well there is no time limit and there is not hard and fast time for it so you don't need to worry for anything just continue your good work.''Do you think that Copra will propagate to all Google datacenters?''
