Just looking for a little advise on SEO, I have had my site for a while over 3 years, and have tried to perform small SEO over the years, I don't have a massive link profile but seem to have gained a good PR, I was just wondering if anyone could tell why my site does not rank for my main keyword "carrier bags" and not do really well for longer tailed "printed carrier bags" and other related terms.

Site is signifypromotions.co.uk Hope from now you have to concentrate of building some strong inbound links to a website from related niche and high PR websites. Once you have got enough link you are sure to rank well for all those keywords. empori_exchange was right. you really need to do some real hard work on that keyword for your website to boost traffic. My main keyword is "carrier bags" on page I can't do anymore as my title contains it, my description contains it, I have a H1 header with it, my page contains the phrase, most of my anchor text that I have created contain the main keyword "carrier bags"
