Not able to use JQuery in Chrome Extensions

I have a Google Chrome Extension in which I have a background.js and I am trying to use JQuery in it.Getting following error.\[code\]Uncaught ReferenceError: $ is not defined\[/code\]My manifest File code part\[code\] "content_scripts": [ { "matches": ["<all_urls>"], "js": ["script.js", "jquery.js","front.js"] } ], "web_accessible_resources": ["https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.7.1/jquery.min.js"], "content_security_policy": "script-src 'self' https://ajax.googleapis.com; object-src 'self'",\[/code\]I am not able to get any clue of using JQuery functions in this extension.
