I am Trying to Seperate the categories on my forum

but i am unable to separate them by a table... they just add onto the list of forums...

How can i make the list of categories like they are on this site (not subforums)

Is it a coding problem or something?

I Just need as many suggestions as possible, i searched everywhere... but no help worked.

My VBulletin Version is 3.7.2

(if you need more info, just ask... i really want to know how to make the categories seperated in a table-like way... like this site)
 
In the ACP, edit the title you want to be a category, and under posting options change "Act as forum" to "No", then make forums you want to appear under that category as children of that title.
 
though that makes a category.. and its a little seperate, its still not doing the 'seperate category' thing,

it just adds a forum onto the list, and makes it look a little discolored
