I have the need to be able to show inputted text in a choice of displayed fonts. As far as I know, embedded fonts are only supported on IE.
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=601&page=5">http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=601&page=5</a><!-- m --> seems to have the ability to display text in fonts not on the client computer, & it works in IE6, IE7 & Firefox2 at least.
I tried looking at the sourse code, but I'm stumped.
Any idea how they're doing this?
Thanks! As far as i know, you arent able to display custom fonts online. If its just the header you may consider putting the font in a pic.Actually, there are quite a few ways to have your custom font displayed but none of them really work. And that page is simply using images for the text. If a particular font is critical then you should use PDF or some format more suitable than HTML. If it's not critical then don't worry about it.
