Does backlnking to no follow social bookmarking sites affects or what are the effects of it? Does it still take the keywords or the sites for the main goal to be on top to all searches?

Just to clarify.... Backlinking with Social bookmarking sites would definitely takes the sites up through ranking.
But it has something to do with do follow or no follow?
Thanks Social networking websites provide nofollow backlinks and thus they dont count as far as rankings are concerned but it does help google to understand the topic of your website and the type of content it has so its not absolutely useless to have nofollow backlinks.
