When i search for my key phrase in google which is "wedding website" or "wedding website design" etc, my site does not show up on any of the pages.I know thats it is none of the pages as i went to advance search and typed keywords i wanted to search for and changed the results to show 100. I then did a search for my domain name on all the ten pages of results but my site was nowhere apart from in google ads.All my pages have been indexed and google visits my site about 3 times a day.The words i search for are contained on home page in quite high density. Is there something wrong with my site? The url is http://www.wedding-designs.co.ukIt looks like an ozzu thread is the only thing you show up for: Keyword: wedding website design URL Pattern: wedding-designs.co.ukPosition 302. SITE REVIEW: Wedding Designs (Ver2)Full url: http://www.ozzu.com/website-reviews/site-review-wedding-designs-ver2-t27008.htmlTry http://www.googlerankings.com so you don't have to weed throught all the resuts to find yours.I see 6 backlinks and 17 pages in the index...just no good rankings. It could be that an update is starting and this is only temporary...when was the last time you ranked for these terms?I just noticed when you do a site:wedding-designs.co.uk vs. site:www.wedding-designs.co.ukI get different results. Google could be looking at that as duped content. Thanks, but i dont understand where you got "6 backlinks from"?If you go to google and do link: http://www.wedding-designs.co.uk you get 3 pages of people linking to me.However if i do link:www.wedding-designs.co.uk (without a space) i only get 6.Whats the difference between having a space and not having a space? As for the duplicated first page, i dont understand that and am gonna sort it out now.Does my site look SE friendly? This shows 6 back links: http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=n ... co%2Euk%2FThis shows 206: http://www.google.com/search?q=link%3A+ ... =&ie=UTF-8very strange...let me try it wih some other sitesand i have only got 1 index.html so i dont understand why its counting them as different sites as i have only got one index.html.This is very strangeI think the space is throwing off the syntax. When I use the gogle toolbar or right click and choose backlinks there is no space used in the query statement. Adding the space makes the search command look for pages that have link: and http://www.somesite.com...you can test it by searching for "link: and wedding-designs-co.uk" without the quotes....you should get about 206 pages...google will drop the and so your search will be "link: wedding-designs-co.uk"ok but if you do link: http://www.wedding-designs.co.uk you will see all the sites that are linking to me. If you look at each result you will be able to see that they have provided a link towards me.So why is this not showing up when i do link:www.wedding-designs.co.uk? There are more then six pages linking to me as i saw from the before search of link: http://www.wedding-designs.co.ukIs their an explanation for this? surely link:www.wedding-designs.co.uk should give me all the links?Do you understand what i mean?link:www.wedding-designs.co.uk shows only links that have PR of 4 or higherwhere as link: http://www.wedding-desings.co.uk shows every page that has the word "link" and you site address on it.If you want to see all the pages that contain your url regardless of PR search this: "+wedding-designs.co.uk" with the quotes ....some of these are not links as far as the SEs are concerned....the way the sig links are done here the are hidden from the SEs....but the text that makes up the link...which happens to be your url is visible so it shows up in the results. I ran a link checker and only found only 15 links max from any of the engines. Yahoo is very good at picking up all your links....big and small. check here: http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=link%3 ... fl=0&x=wrtbeefcakejcc has it right ... the space causes Google to look for any site containing your domain AND the word link (punctuation is ignored). When I checked to see how many pages are indexed (17) it shows there are 8 pages with the same title ('templates') ... this won't help ... make each page title different.Look at the cached text version of your page ...http://216.239.41.104/search?q=cache:8uAZRf3wdXwJ:www.wedding-designs.co.uk/+site:www.wedding-designs.co.uk&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&strip=1Your keyword phrase appears only three times ... pretty low for such a competitive term (4660 pages contain this phrase).I don't see a META description on your page either ... Google uses text from the page for a description but I still believe it is useful. It will take a little more analysis to determine why PR is not flowing to the rest of your pages .... but a PR-0 will not place you high in the search for your keywords.
