I have a really good internat connection, but it make smy computer have an overall speed thats slowIt's not your Internet Connection that slows your computer down. It's a lack of RAM available to the applications you want to run and a lack of processor time available to those applications.

If you've Download ed the latest version of Kazaa (2.6 I believe) GET RID OF IT! I've had to help fix two friends' computers because the latest version seems to load about 100 MBs worth of spyware into RAM each time your computer starts up. With all the available RAM eaten up by spyware, your regular applications have to suffice with virtual memory. Search Google for spyware removal tool, Download one and run it. A computer I just fixed today had over 100 programs running in the background.

Also, those nifty custom toolbars you can Download for IE always seem to have some spyware with them. If you have Bonzi Buddy, GET RID OF IT TOO! Again, it loads LOTS of spyware on your computer that eats up processor time and RAM usage.

Also, Download and install the latest version of an anti-virus program. Viruses can run in the background, eating up processor time mostly.I've got SpyBot S&D installed, version 1.2. How reliable is this? Should I get a different program?Actually, I think that was the program I used earlier today. I haven't used it much but I've been satisfied with it so far.Alrighty, Thanks! ;)To remove Spyware try... http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/Download /Get Spybot 1.3
