no history

we've got an underground website (obviously) and we were wondering if there's a way to keep the pages out of the history folder. any thoughts?<!--content-->there are none. You cannot force a browser not save a page once it caches it, since It has to cache, or Download <!--more-->, the content just to display it. You cannot use any client side scripting most definatly because that can be disabled, and you cant do it server side. You might do what adam brill did with hiding his content, but that would make your page extreamly inaccessable and annoying, that is why he was only doing it for fun, because at that point it is not going to be able to be used on a functional site. So no matter what the stuff is going into temporary internet files (even if you use a meta no cache ebcause that just forces the page not to read from the cache but to re Download <!--more-->). About the history, no there is no way to do this either, it seems like it would violate way to many security settings if it were possible.<!--content-->very true.....<!--content-->Also bear in mind that using silly scripts to "norightclick" or hide source scripts merely highlight the fact that you have something to hide, and anyone can bypass that simply by opening your page with mozilla, or by saving it for offline viewing, then opening it with notepad. There is NO way to stop people from viewing either page content or source, nor from it being cached.<!--content-->mozilla firebird is wonderful, I can just quickly disable java script from the webdev toolbar I have on it.<!--content-->
