HelloCan anyone help me? I'm new!!I submitted my site: http://www.potentbooks.co.uk to Google and have been watching over the past few days. Today for the first time I showed up on the Google Dance and when I search for my site in google I come up with description. (before today I was just seeing the url). However, when you search for keywords (in this case homeopathy books) I am nowhere to be found. My PR is 0. How long before I come up in the search results? I cant rem where exactly..//edit. it is not a sticky and it is in search engine section.give it time... it's normal that google does not pick up your site for the keywords you aim for if the site has not been up for long and does not have a lot of backlinksagree with brian911. but you two have not done website reviews for the initial 3 posts in ozzu. thanks everyone.mad monk: have you looked at my site? i know it's slow!! i'm a beginner and the market is small and the books are cheap....excuses.... you need to change your fonts for a start. you are mixing all the sizes everywhere. hehe.try posting your site in website reviews sectionand improve yr site in the meantime..how old is yr site anyways.. _??about 3 weeks...do i really have to have to go and clean it up? mad monk!! they'll laugh at me in website reviews...oh the shame... Just clean up and sychro yr site fonts for a start. heh. its up to you.3 weeks is fairly new for a site. You prolly have to wait a while. you can also read the google sticky thread on how to do stuffs related to yr site.for EG.site:www.yourdomainname.comthanks for the tips...hi ho hi ho it's off to work, etc...one quick tip that will help you gain relevancy...add the word book to some of the links that you use for your internal pages ie: at the bottom in the purple bar "Philosophy Books", "Repertory Books"then try to get links from some of these sites: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=& ... +url+-freeRedesign, clean up the code, aim for keyword density of at least 1.6-3%centralise the stylesheets, learn how to use them properly.perhaps rework the design.Its a constant process.
