hi guys !!
i am a relative newbie to PHP...did a bit of PHP3 on Linux about a year ago, but i was thrown a curve ball by the client today (a year long WBT site): "we will NOT support or even LOOK at a nt/asp/sql site, even if you guys drop off the box"..."must be a unix/oracle site"
sooooo...my 1st thought is defintely PHP & how nutty is Oracle if there are no stored procedures involved ? fortunately the flash 5 content will stay as-is, but i will need to submit variables to PHP instead to be written to Oracle.
is this a typical project with PHP & what are the pitfalls ?
thanks,
Geoff
