When I use the link: http://www.mysite.com command at google, it gives me a much shorter list than I would have expected... are the results here the ONLY sites google considers when assigning PR, or are they just a subset?Any and all help is appreciated.Based on the prsearch.net tool, I believe it is possible to design an application that will go through the backlink tree and calculate the approximate PR of a page using the well known equations posted for the PR algorithm.I've noticed an interesting point: a logarithmic PR6 page that has one link to another page will cause the linked page to become PR4 or 5 instantly, due to the nature of the 0-10 scale and the (possible) 0.85 "vote" multiplier.For instance, music.hyperreal.org/epsilon/ (#1 for keywords "ambient music") is a PR6 site, primarily because it is linked from the directory (a PR5 link) and several other PR4-5 links (and ~25 others). For specific keyword combinations, just 1 link from a PR4-5 site may put you in the top 10.I will try to do some analysis and post the results of my scanning...This tool is similar to http://www.seochat.com/seo-tools/pagerank-search/ .
