Stay away from Network Solutions! After using their domain search for years they have decided to put a new feature in place that will automatically register any available domain your search returns ending in .com under their name and from that moment you can't register it with any other company as they are trying to extort you themselves. I figured this out today after losing 3 quality domains to them because I refuse to pay %600 more for my domains through NSI.
guess they have realized that people are using their search, buying the domains elsewhere for a COMPETATIVE RATE, and they aren't getting any domain business because of their ridiculous prices. Instead of doing what any other business would do and lower their domain prices to be around what everyone else is charging they decided to hijack the domains their users search for and extort them. I honestly dont' even know how this is legal, I have heard of domain tasters but a registar that is tasting domains can't be accepted by ICANN, at least I wouldn't think so...
Anyway I would avoid Network Solutions like the plague.... That is what I am doing now anyway...
