I want to redo my web site and would like some color suggestions. So far I know I want to use warm colors. I will have a white BG and orange BG for the links table.

I'm currently looking for suggestions for other good colors that will look good with it. Like link color, text color, logo color etc etc.Well it looks pretty 'crisp' from here.

Why do you need to re-design?

If you're looking for 'warm' colors - I think they are purely objective.

Did someone tell you - you *need* to re-design?

Why are you listening to them?
Curious...You should learn about the color wheel. Opposites are good complements and look great when used together, e.g. green/red, yellow/violet, orange/blue, but you can also use adjacent colors for a less drastic effect, e.g. orange and yellow back grounds are good together and then use violet and blue text to offset them.

Here is an example of the color wheel:
http://www.saumag.edu/art/studio/chalkb ... wheel.htmlSince the color wheel came up, here is a link to my Interactive Color Wheel (http://rocq.home.att.net/SIHwheel.html).

Possibly more helpful to ActionSports' question:
Warm Colors (http://www.patternlanguage.com/apl/apl250/apl250.htm)
Provides description of what warm colors are (then gets very technical)
Palette Master (http://nebulus.org/index.html?pg=freebi ... /index.asp)
Provides a set of 閹爐hetically pleasing colors to an interactively-selected base color
ColorServe (http://www.ac.biola.edu/~brian/csapplet.html)
Allows interactive selection and display of these colors:
* Background
* Text
* Link
* Visited Link
* Active Link
There are lots of great color resources on the net!Originally posted by drivle
Yea there is nothing wrong with the look now, I like it. But I just think I'd like something with warm colors better, thats all. I at least want to test something with warm colors. Maybe I'll just leave it as is.
