I have attached a txt document of my index page and my style sheet. Everything was working great until i took all the styles out and put them in an external style sheet now that i have linked it only some of the styles are being applied . Like my footer layer was meant to be at the bottom containing a flash swf but now it is sitting on top of my banner. It seems anything below the content isnt showing because i had text under there aswell.
If anybody could help it would be appreciated.

Hey thanks for replying but its still not working the flash swf is still on top of the banner and i still think some things arent working because if i change say the width of something on the style sheet isnt changing anything on the page.

That was one of the more severe errors I saw in your code, however, there may be something else preventing things from working.I have a navigation layer at the top that has links to other pages but thats about it apart from links to emails. For some reason it doesnt like to link my style.css to my pages or maybe im just linking it wrong.
