Okay I just upgraded my forum from PHBB to VB 3.8.1 and I need to know how to set up all the options for posting threads things like quoting previous posts,font color and size.Basicly everything you see when you start a new thread here.Do I have to install mods or do I just enable them in the admin cp.I have been looking but I can't find anything in the admin cp.
 
Go through the VBulletin options to sort out your Board.
Go to Usergroups to sort out settings for groups such as 'guests' 'registered' etc.
Go to Forums & Moderators and check forum permissions for each group.
Go to Forum & Moderators and check on Forum Manager and check your settings there.

That should give you a basic idea on the sets up VB. Once you've done all that, you can go through all the other options for attachments, ranks etc.

I don't know about others, but once I do any extensive updates or changes to my forum, I go to Maintenance, update counters, and update the various options that I have made changes or updates with. (I don't reset the stats.)
Be warned, it's not a five minute job and it's best to take your time and learn as you go along.
