I am familiar with Html, some javascript flash etc.,but I am trying to learn more to create better sites.I have checked out this example site. (http://studio.themelabs.com/?theme=g-Metros)What I would like to know is how they made this,I see the tables but what I wonder is did they make this one image in like photoshop and then slice it up?

I also see they used alot of PHP.What does this do for your website?Advantage to using it?I have a PHP forum but have not messed with it other than that. Also I see they use javascript to preload images,is this good?

Thanks for any info as I would definitley like to make better sites but need the education you guys provide. If you know of some sites with simple reading these subjects I do not have a problen reading. Thanks again.Hi Mechanic,
