We would like to turn over the management of our home-developed web site to a reputable company. Any suggestions? Two questions:
Who has been managing the site up to now?
And why are you leaving them?
Oh and what is the site address? Is it static HTML site or PHP/MySql or ASP/.Net/MsSql JSP etc. you need management of the site alone or the server too.Providing the site address will help you better in getting the right people. Thanks for the replies; sorry I didn抰 provide much detail in my initial post. Here抯 a bit more. We are currently hosted in a shared server environment with a dedicated IP and a private SSL cert but are considering moving to a VPS. Environment is Linux/Apache with cPanel but no SSH access. Our web presence currently has two components. Our main site (static HTML with a flash video) is online and currently only serves to introduce our product. The second component, the shopping cart, is mostly complete but is not yet accessible to the public. The shopping cart is being developed using CubeCart v3.0.17 (PHP/MySql). So far, we have modified the skin to match our main web site, installed our SSL cert and are in the process of acquiring a merchant account and payment gateway. We are developing the site ourselves, but if sales go well, we envision some point in the not too distant future when we turn complete management over to someone to do this for us. At that time, we would be open to a complete make-over, including moving to another hosting service, using a different shopping cart, and possibly even another payment gateway. At this time I am looking for suggestions of companies with good track records that do this sort of thing. I抎 like to begin researching possible options now. Thanks, Romo
