I need help setting up vb FROM SCRATCH.


I downloaded the latest vb from here. When Iupload it to myFTP using Filezilla, the upload is successful but when I run the file <www.SITE-NAME.co.cc/install/install.php> from my firefox, it says the file not found

WHats the prob?? I even CHMOD the files to 777 but still no use

u must upload it to /public_html ..
and also is ur domain completely propagated ???

And what do you mean by domain being propagated !!

Where have you uploaded the files?

you need to upload the contents of your vb folder into thr root of where you want your forum to be, so it could be on

www.yoursite.com/ which would be the public html/ DIR

or www.yoursite.com/forum/ which would be public html/forum DIR

etc..

and you need to make sure you have correctly writtin your config.php file found in the includes folder correctly.
