I am in the beginning stages a new video sharing site (intend to use Clip Share) which will pertain to sports. I have reserved the domain name, filed a trademark application for the name, have the ideas for what I wish to accomplish BUT need help with the design of the site, setup, the administration, hosting, etc, etc....

I will need necessary server, bandwidth, management of site and server and speed with the ability to handle potential high traffic. I HAVE RECEIVED INFORMATION FROM Timihosting.com and Infrenion.com. ANYONE HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH EITHER ENTITY??

Please contact me to let me know what services and direction you can provide to me. I welcome all advice and guidance. I am interested in getting things done as soon as possible. Thanks very much.

JoelDamn that's Huge text! How about slow down a bit? Trademark? For what? Why not have controlled growth? Pick a privider, script, material and advertise is what I recommend. Yes, the text is annoying. How about slow down a bit? Trademark? For what? Why not have controlled growth? Pick a privider, script, material and advertise is what I recommend. Thanks for the reply. Sorry about the text size it was my first post. I am working on all of the things you suggested though I am having a difficult time determining the best provider to use, at a reasonable cost, who can best host the site, manage a large enough server and provide enough bandwidth to handle the traffic if the site takes off. Given that I am completely unfamiliar with the technical aspects, I am posting to these forums in hopes to learn more. Thus far, it is a bit overwhelming as it seems like there are many entities offering there services and I have yet to determine the best route to go. I wish to start small, at a reasonable cost and see where it goes.
Trademark...well that is because the phrase which also makes up the URL/Domanin Name is something that is used in every sporting event, on every Sports show, sports magazine, etc...
Thanks again for you any guidance you can provide.Trademark- hmmm this sounds very complicated since you say it relates to a lot of other things and thus makes it very common. It might be hard to trademark as yours because someone (or a party of them) could put your trademark on hold and say "Hey, I've used that for more than 20 yrs and my business revolves around those terms- so if anyone is to trademark it, It would be me bla bla etc". I suggest you go to legalzoom.com and request their assistance along with an attorney if the need arises. As far as choosing a provider, go to to the offers section and check it out. Read the forums for feedback of various companies and pick your choice of provider. I would suggest picking someone based on support and the quality of hardware. There are thousands of providers but keep an eye out on ones with lots of feedback. With what you are trying to do, price shouldn't be factored in your decision. This is going to cost you a pretty penny at most if you want to do things right (assuming you have no admin/root background).Trademark- hmmm this sounds very complicated since you say it relates to a lot of other things and thus makes it very common. Thanks again for the advice. timihosting.com...have you heard anything about them? They have been the most diligent in responding and providing suggestions on what they think I need.I suggest JS [ <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=661827">http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=661827</a><!-- m --> ], they provide managed server and they will also install modules required by video sharing script...On top of that, something for the extent of video sharing in regards to sports can cause issues as well as most sports video is copyrighted by the league of which is in charge of a particular sport (NBA, NFL, MLB, etc.)
