Hello to all,
My IT just attempted to put our Microsoft Access Tables into Oracle for better control and service. That went went well but here is the problem we encountered. All of our users (33 in all) have a short cut to the datbase that says the following: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\MSACCESS.EXE" t:\soapsii\db\ops97.mdb/x OrderEntryEdit/cmd -permissive
The question is on the cmd - permissive. I think this is some sort of security rights that Access uses when you start running the OrderEntryEdit macro but I believe this is having adverse effects when we come in using Oracle which has its own set of security rules. Can anyone PLEASE shed any light or give me feedback. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you....
