When Google indexed my new site-- 6 weeks ago-- they just happened to do it the day before I uploaded the content. Consequently, they indexed the Hosting Co page!Now they have added the site info --on top of the hosting co page -- a real mess!Google tells me they can't or - won't - do anything about their cache. So the index is still corrupted! -- Now going past - 6 weeks. I am reluctant to remove the site url,as Google says this will kill the url for 6-Months!-- I noticed some references to "Pinging the Google Bot" on this forum, but I am not sure if this my solution.Please advise most direct route to get site re-indexed, if I need to insert Code, please be very specific on every Character required -- and the exact location where it must be installed -- I am a novice -- please explain your resolution accordingly. Thanks-Curious I am not too sure about the site re-indexing after the change of IP address but it should not cause any problems in terms of SEO. There are issues to be considered, such as quality and location of service and timing of move, but beyond that a move in hosting a site should not make any difference.The Google bot goes around indexing sites by following links on the web, so the more links to your site the more often it will arrive at your site and reindex.It also takes other factors into consideration too (such as how often you update your site, authority of sites that link to you, etc).Best bet is get some quality links to your site, pay for them if neccesary.Get the link in signature of any forum. forum content generally changed time by time . so there is always new content for google bot to index the website. so there boat always there. this way you get index your website very quickly.use google's webmaster tools.
