Need Forum Columns Guidance =)

hi everyone ^^

im trying to install the forum columns arranged in forumhome which i found in this website. however this doesnt work in my web (using vbulle 3.73)

here what i have done

1) i already import the plugin succesfully

now i have to edit some of the function_forumlist.php

i wanna know where should i put these instructions

then add this new function to the file:

2) where can i determine the column? is it in the forum manager -> each forum -> at the bottom set number "2" ?? i tried this but no success
