(I dont want this test site getting indexed)
Hi,
As you can see on the left hand side of the above listed page I'm looking for some type of cascading drop down menu. But I'm starting to think I may have to punt and face reality that it will have to be plain old hyper links.
The issues:
This site is desired to be content intensive with weekly updates of information and links branching off of the main site.
The java applet currently in use is buggy and unrelialbe as users have different browsers and JVMs, some users are reporting graphical bugs with the applet.
My understanding is that Javascript drop down menus, java applets are not going to allow the sub menus to be indexed by search engines. IS THIS CORRECT?
Finally this website is goning to be maintained by an inexperienced user (the plan is macromedia contribute). Because of this, I cannot have her editing and possibly breaking all the javascript, as it's not very user friendly...
Any advice for someone who wants his cake and to eat it too?
