Long story short, I tried to transfer a domain to namecheap 1 week ago. I sent in three separate tries for the same domain, since I was not receiving my EPP code in the e-mail as promised.Namecheap's policy is "Risk Free transfer. Your money credited back to your account if transfer is not successful for any reason."So, I put in a support ticket about a day later to request a refund. No answer (1 week later). So, I posted on their forum last night. No answer, and they deleted the post:google.com/search?q=site%3Anamecheap.com+chargebackIn the event of a charge back by a credit card company (or similar action by another payment provider allowed by us) in connection with the payments of the registration fee for your domain name registration, you agree and acknowledge that the domain name registration shall be transferred to Namecheap as the paying entity for that registration to the registrynamecheap.com/legal/reg-agreement.aspTheir charge back policy is pretty clear about this. I won't lose the other domains hosted with them. Although if they do steal my other domains, what options do I have to protect myself from namecheap?
