Win NT, mySQL
I just downloaded the latest copy of mySQL and unzipped it. I did not have another copy on this computer. I installed it on the C: drive in the mysql directory.
In the "winmysqladmin.exe" App, under the "my.ini Setup" tab, it shows:
[WinMySQLAdmin]
Server=C:/mysql/bin/mysqld-nt.exe
in the main window. It seems like the main screen should say something different because the readme file talks about uncommenting certain lines. Also, the readme file does not mention a button that appears on my screen, "Pick-up and Edit my.ini values". When I hit that button nothing happens. I have looked for the my.ini file and found it in the winnt directory, it contains the text shown above.
I have checked "mysqld-nt" in the "mysqld file" section.
Any help would be great. I just gave up trying to find it on the mysql website, it sucks.
