A admin Administrator Staff member Aug 20, 2008 #1 the MySQL server will not start. It was running fine, now it starts then ends immediately. The mysql.sock file is NOT in the /tmp directory. How do I recreate this file? Or, can anyone point me in the right direction? Bill Blue
