W wxdqz New Member Aug 21, 2008 #1 Hello, I was wondering. How does binary data get dumped into a text(.sql) file when backing up the db? Is there some sort of de/encoding going on? If I look at the binary data in the dump it looks encoded. But with what type of system? Scott
