MySQL config file

Hi,

Recently I have newly intsalled PHP4.2.2+MySQL+Apache on Linux Redhat 7.2 + 256 RAM + 512K cache machine.

What config file should I choose for the MySQL ? I choose the my-huge.cnf . But it seem like use alot of the server memory resource? What is a most appropriate .cnf I should choose on? Later on, the machine going to upgrade to 2GB RAM. Please advice.

Another thing is, because there might have 200++ user login simultaneously, get the updated data in every 4-8 second(page refresh itself). But recently I find that the MySQL can't handle it well and what could be the cause? Not enough memory? or using the wrong .cnf file?

Thanks
louis
